Hello all,

I was wondering what everybody thinks is the best wiper blades to use? I live in a very rainy area if that helps.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental comes with excellent wipers. They are a beam type that use "rubber" and other flexible materials to form the blade without any metal supports to trap ice. They are aerodynamically designed with a lip to help keep the blade in contact with the glass at speed. They work extremely well in the wet and are very quiet.

I have not used them in the winter snow and ice in my Continental but I use beam wipers on other cars and they are best for winter use.

As stock the Continental wipers in park sit very low on the windshield and do not extend to the full width of the windshield. So I moved the wipers 2" up the screen and now have a perfectly clear windshield to the full width. Still has a minimum 1" glass for high speed over-run at full stroke.

Good luck.
