I saw their post today about the Aviator being shown 3/28/18. I was reading the comments and there were a couple of posts that insinuated that the Continental was being discontinued because of poor sales. Does anyone think that is true? I did notice that in the last couple of weeks two local Lincoln only dealers each have only one Continental in stock. So either they are selling well, or not selling well and the dealers stopped ordering them. Interesting....

I find it difficult to believe the nameplate will be discontinued.   I am sure the current model on the current platform will be discontinued in time but I would expect a successor Continental.  I am just guessing and hoping, though.

You think the Continental will go to the rear drive platform from the Aviator/Explorer in a year or 2?

In around 2020 - 2021, yes.

That would make sense if the Explorer goes to that platform in 2020.
